National People's Health Convention was a conference organized by Jan Swasthya Abhiyan India in Raipur on December 9 and 10, 2025.

Major Announcements and Decisions:[1]

  1. A fortnight-long national campaign on occupational and environmental health will be observed in April 2026.
  2. A National Public Health Conference on occupational and environmental health will be organized in Jaipur.
  3. A nationwide campaign against the privatisation of health services and for strengthening public health systems.
  4. A seven-day training course for grassroots health workers on key health issues will be launched by March 2026.
  5. A cadre of trained health workers will be developed in 100 districts across the country.
  6. Separate working groups will be formed on violence against women, women's health, and the health concerns of the marginalised communities.

At the conclusion of the two-day convention, participants collectively released a People's Health Declaration, reaffirming their commitment to coordinated grassroots and national-level action for protecting and strengthening public health. THe convention also finalised the new National Executive Committee of Jan Swasthya Abhiyan India (JSAI), appointed national and state conveners, and established a National Advisory Group.
