<blockquote>Bijapur Integrated Rural Development Society (BIRDS) was established on 2nd October 1989 on the day of Gandhi Jayanti and registered on 1st February 1990 under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960. Mr. Mahantesh Agasimundin is the founder of the organization.
